Have you used "Marketing Experts" before only to be let down by poor results and impractical theory lessons?

Database Creation

Database-imageIdentification of your target market is key to getting your marketing right. You have to know who you are talking to and how to talk to them.

We identify your target markets and build specific databases to meet your exact requirements.

Would you agree that you would not speak to a business owner the same way you would talk to an elderly lady? Of course you wouldn't, so you need to apply that theory to your marketing as well.

Once we have worked out who you need to talk to - we need to build you a list of these companies so that you can contact each of them to promote your product/service direct to the people that will potentially purchase from you.

We price each database separately because it depends on how many company names you require and the info you need. Contact us for a customised quote.

Lead Generation

There is a world full of potential customers out there - but how do you know which ones will need/want/desire your product/service over others? COGS2

Once we have built you a database, there are a couple of things you can do with that list to start to generate warmer leads.

Qualify the cold list - by calling each company to ask who the best person is to talk to about your particular product/service and get their name, postal address, telephone number and email address, plus permission to contact them.

Now its time to send either a letter and brochure by post or an email campaign out to the cold lead. Once you have done this the lead is now considered warmer.

  1. Mass market (addressed) - this basically means you would send out a sales letter with a brochure to each individual company and write to a specific person within that organisation i/e Purchasing manager...

  2. Mass market - (unaddressed) - this basically means that you would send out unaddressed mail to an area (by postcode) rather than to individual companies by name. You may want to do this if you are targeting a specific area, but do not want to build a database.

If you have posted something out give it 3-4 days and then follow up, if you have emailed give it 2-3 days and then follow up. You will find it remarkably easier the 2nd time round because you have the correct persons name, you have sent information to that company so you are now not hawking as such.

The aim from sending out info is for the company to become interested in yoru product or service, this means you will have to spruik your product in general conversation without sounding like a smarmy sales person or like you are reading from a script. Know your product and love your product because if you camn genuinely get people interested in what you beleive is a great product then you are on your way to making sales.

Once the leads come back in - you will need to count how many you received in relation to how many you sent out, this gives you a ratio of success. Generally direct mail outs only get a 2-3% success rate.

What to do with the leads once they arrive:

  • Follow up

  • Follow up

  • Follow up

The key to good customer service is to be polite and to follow up. No one ever complained about being followed up if they actually want something - but you can bet they would complain if they had said they were interested and then they heard nothing more from you.

Garnish Marketing provides a complete Lead Generation service, where we will identify, qualify and contact each lead, plus follow up on any interested sales opportunities by letter, email or phone and pass the lead onto you to either finalise the sale or we can do that for you. We helped Cameron Davey Consulting, a North side Brisbane based Workcover Claims specialist with a variety of start up tools. We developed their brand, complete marketing material package, we assisted on the copy for their website and we did some database building and initial lead generation calls to get their foot in the door.

The Shoreline Group has been working with Garnish Marketing for a number of years. We continually update their marketing material, we have recently developed a new website and we assist with their Facebook Page, Press releases and Email Campaigns.

As a renowned North Brisbane based Business Consultancy it is important that Shoreline portrays a professional, efficient and prominent profile, which Garnish Marketing helps to maintain.

Garnish Marketing looks after all three Farmers Markets for Shane Stanley; we maintain the marketing for Noosa, North Lakes and the newest Market at Kawana Waters. On an ongoing basis we manage all advertising, press, mail out distributions, Marketing material design, banner design and production, we also look after all Email Marketing, Loyalty card marketing, weekly blogs and management of their social media profiles.

We have developed the three websites with Isonic, and have created a single landing age which allows users to choose the relevant market for their location. www.qldfarmersmarkets.com.au

Furniture Concepts are one of Queensland largest joinery companies. We were asked to develop their Environmental Statement and their Sustainable Partnerships Booklet.

Furniture Concepts is conscious of the effects that manufacturing can have on the environment and wanted to explain to potential customers what they are doing to reduce their carbon footprint.

Garnish Marketing managed the design, copy and development of both booklets, which were then printed on recycled stock.

When the girls at Embrace Life came to us they had a tired looking website and no marketing material. Now they have an exciting and fresh new website that is easy to navigate and really sells what they offer to their clients. It is an information portal and a massive online brochure which details the specifics of their business and the events they run.

Embrace Life also have a range of beautifully designed DL flyers to hand out to potential clients. We also wrote a few press releases which resulted in some local press.

We work with M Melfi Designs to market their range of high end Helm Chairs into the Global Marine Market. Initially we start with a bounty of research which has helped us to identify where they sit in the market and how best we might inject M Melfi Designs onto the global marine scene.

We are developing a range of brochures, updating the website and doing a lot of lead generation across the globe to ensure that M Melfi Designs Helm Chairs are the chairs chosen for more of the larger boat or vessel fit outs and refurbishments.
