We are a North Brisbane based marketing company whose main aim is to assist with the marketing and sales development of small to medium sized companies.

At Garnish we take the personal approach to developing a marketing campaign. We believe that every company is different and that how you market your business needs to tie in with how you run your business. Not every type of marketing works for every company, a lot of it comes down to personal choice, budget constraints or internal capacity to carry out the marketing project.

We take the time to get to know your business, you and your procedures before we suggest any marketing activities. During the first FREE consultation we will determine who your target market is, what you are currently doing to market your business and what you feel is working, as well as areas you would like to improve. We will ask you to fill in a basic analysis form before the meeting so we have a better understanding of where you are at before we meet, this enables us to start having an in depth conversation from the outset about your marketing activities and how we can actually help.  Then we come back to you with a full proposal of suggestions that we can work with you on to increase your turnover and grow your client base.

Marketing is not about designing eye-catching marketing material, in fact that is the job of a graphic designer, this is a common misconception. It is also not just about advertising, yes advertising may play a part in your campaign, but it is just one aspect to creating a Marketing mechanism that works for your particular company. Marketing is actually about:

  • Getting to know your target market and exploring other potential markets to expand to. (Research)
  • Getting to know your competitor and what they are doing to attract your desired target market. (Research)
  • Speaking to your target market in the best way on time and to budget (Research, analysis , budgeting and copy writing)
  • Making sure your product or service has its own USP and that you are promoting that. This is what sets you apart from your competitors. (Research and Development of the brand)
  • Making sure your brand is selling what you actually do, that it works and if it needs a lift - to implement it. (Branding)
  • Finding new and innovative ways to promote your company that sets you apart from your competitors. (Marketing campaign development and initiation)
  • Knowing what outcome you want from your marketing and measuring what you do to ensure you are achieving those goals. (measuring your marketing)
