Affiliate marketing strategies

Working with other locally based businesses or with businesses that have the same target market as you is a great way to cut the cost of marketing and also talk to people who are on your affiliate's database. 

Why not list all the industries that would have the same target market as you.

Then decide if locality is a factor and if so look up all the businesses in those industries in your area and approach them. 

You can then work together to send out flyers, email campaigns, monthly newsletters, you can even send out sales letters referring each other to your clients in with your invoices and statements. It's a low cost way to talking directly to the people you need to and it also adds clout to your business as your affiliate's customer already respects and uses them - so the referral is coming from a trusted source and not just as a piece of junk mail.
