Direct Mail does work, but you will have to consider that in order to reach your quota of desired customers you will have to send out a large volume of mail outs

The normal expectation is a 2 - 3% success rate.  

So if you wanted to get 20 new customers you would have to send out 667 pieces of mail to generate a 3% success rate of 20 customers.

  • You can use a mail distribution company to send out your flyers with all the other junk mail
  • You can insert your flyers into a local newspaper or magazine

  • You can send out sales letters direct to companies that you want to deal with. Give them a brochure with the letter and perhaps a call to action so they are tempted to contact you.

  •             More targeted
  •             More expensive
  •             Requires a database to work from
