Angie Hammond - Director
Angie is the founder and Director of Garnish Marketing. She has spent over 15 years working within marketing departments for a variety of industries focusing on high end textiles predominately. After moving away from the textile industry and into a sales roles in the commercial furniture Industry and then Sales and Marketing Manager in the freight forwarding Industry it became apparent that small business really needed a dedicated marketing department to help them on a project by project basis. Garnish Marketing was formed in February 2006 and has been going strong ever since.
Using the analytical skills developed throughout employment, Angie has the ability to think outside the square on a creative yet logical level. Drawing on all her experience Angie offers common sense solutions in an ever increasingly confusing world. Business people are time poor, and quite often great operators, but when it comes to Marketing - get confused, we understand the need for a straight talking, no nonsense approach, which is what we delivers at Garnish.
Angie believes that good marketing is about the culmination of good ideas with sound planning and a creative spin.
Personally, Angie has two gorgeous little boys and a fabulous Husband, we spend lots of time hanging out with the kids. Angie likes running (10km is the latest distance) and eating good food and drinking great wine (or the odd Gin & Tonic).
Vicky McLoughlin - Account Manager
Vicky McLoughlin was born in Liverpool, England and moved to Australia in 2004. Vicky has a Management degree, which she completed at Sheffield Hallam University, UK and has held a number of different Marketing and Business Development roles since graduating. Vicky's industry experience includes Walt Disney World (Florida, USA), Marriott Hotels (UK), Local Government (UK and Australia) and Brisbane Marketing (Australia). Vicky has also completed a number of training qualifications and has enjoyed teaching others about Business Skills and Marketing Concepts. Vicky was proud to become an Australian citizen in 2007 and after working for three years in Melbourne is now firmly settled in Brisbane with her husband and family. On her days off Vicky enjoys taking her kids to all the local tourist attractions (probably more than they do), walking, drinking a fine wine in the sun and when possible, travelling!
Ashwin Segkar - Copywriter and Search Engine Marketing Specialist
Ashwin was raised in New Zealand and migrated to Australia in 2001.
After completing tertiary studies in Marketing and Journalism, he worked throughout Sydney, Brisbane and the UK, helping companies with all aspects of their marketing and public relations. Having trained and specialised in online marketing, he makes sure our clients get the most out of their web marketing programs. This involves writing sites that convert customers, creating social media campaigns that arouse interest and establishing search marketing campaigns that attract new customers cost effectively.
In his free time, Ashwin enjoys ticking off a bucket list of places to see from his book, '1000 things to do before you die', playing music and watching odd YouTube videos.
Cindy Tsataros - Project Manager
Hi I'm Cindy, I started with Garnish Marketing in January 2013 as the Office and Projects Manager to compliment the already amazing team.
I bring to this role 15 years of Administrative, Customer Service and Work flow Co-ordination experience.
I have worked in a diverse range of Administrative and Customer Service focused fields including;
Local Government in the Education Department of the Northern Territory, Insurance Industry; Workers Compensation and Personal Injury claims in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Queensland. And most recently Client contact and Project Management in the Superannuation Industry.
My strengths lie in my approachable, can do attitude, customer service and effective communication skills with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. And in my attention to detail and systematic approach to work flow and procedures.
On a personal level I am originally from Darwin in the Northern Territory but now live happily in Brisbane, the weather is amazing!
I am happily married with two young children who are amazing and challenge me everyday!
I enjoy great food, wine and a laugh with friends, going to the movies, family road trips, fishing and exercising.
I look forward to working with you to achieve your business goals.
