Garnish Marketing is reaching out to businesses in regional Australia with free marketing seminars and expert advice.
We have recognised a deficiency in access to quality business information in remote areas and have set out to empower regional business owners.
Business owners in regional Australia don’t have the access to expert advice that we enjoy in metropolitan areas. They’re often going it alone and are in danger of being left behind. So Garnish Marketing have taken the initiative and have set up a roadshow of regional seminars to tackle the situation head on.
The first Garnish regional seminar was held in Roma in July 2011 with massive support from the Maranoa Regional Council, Commerce Roma and DEEDI. Topics discussed included planning and budgeting, reaching your target market, how to design marketing material, colour choice, websites, social media and SEO, plus effective online marketing techniques like Email Marketing and Directory listings. Many business owners followed up on the free seminar with a complimentary one-on-one with Angie the following day.
“Very few business and marketing experts are prepared to visit remote areas and help people to grow their local business, but we have found it to be a mutually beneficial enterprise,” says Angie Hammond - our Managing Director.
Since the Roma seminar, Garnish is now working with a number of key businesses in Roma, including Accountancy and Financial Planning firm CondonTreasure, Maranoa Regional Council, auto-electrical contractors Dore’s Elect-Air, Real estate agents Black & White Pastoral Sales, Boobook ecological consultancy, Peterpoint, Ineercircle, Plus Three (business IT Consultants), Ellies Range (Soaps) and Lagoon Creek Jewellery, Miles Engineering in Miles .
We are also looking at booking in these locations in 2013/2014
